History of the Lodge Necklace
The lodge necklace was designed by Vince Cummings JR., Wes Agar, and Rod Van Horn in 2010. The design was presented to the LEC in early 2011 and approved. The first necklaces were sold at the 2011 summer weekend
Lodge Medallion
Each new member of our lodge receive s this medallion as a part of their induction packet.
The lodge medallion is designed so that the member may engrave the dates of their Ordeal, Brotherhood, and Vigil honor on the back.
Replacement medallions can be purchased through the OA trading post.
Coup Beads
Each member can earn several beads to be worn on their necklace. Only one set of each bead can be worn with the following exceptions:
• Officer and Adviser beads coup for chapter, lodge, area, region, and national
• Coup of the far traveler
• Year Beads
The beads can not be grandfathered in before 2011. All beads worn must be earned after that date. The requirements for earning each bead can be found on Lodge97.org

G5 Alive is the annual training event of Section G5, meant to prepare the youth of the section to better serve their home lodges! This weekend-long course is designed to teach LEC members how to be a servant leader in their lodge! With custom trainings written and given by some of the best trainers within the Order of the Arrow, this event will be one to add to your calendar ASAP! In addition to amazing trainings, there will be multiple fellowship activities to bond with your fellow arrowmen from across our wonderful section!
